Echinacea (coneflower) Razzmatazz was one of the best new introductions ever! It stood at the root of a revolution of new double Echinaceas. The first time we found a double version was in a field of E, Purpurea. The find can be attributed to my neighbour, Jan van Winsen. The plant flowers continuously and abundantly and stands its ground especially in full sun. Do not spoil the plant too much with fertilisers and other minerals, because it will lose its sturdiness. Very suitable as a cut flower and great for brightening up borders. Copies have appeared on the market by now, but E, Razzmatazz is and remains the best double one.
