The Echinacea Sensation Types are somewhat shorter but very floriferous. Suitable for landscaping or as a patio plant. They are striking in color and have been bred for a long lifespan in the garden. The flowers are frequently visited by insects such as bees and butterflies. Height between 40-50 cm. The cultivation of a young 4 cm TC plant from planting to flowering lasts between 12 to 14 weeks. We recommend potting the plants from week 18 outdoors or, if the weather is cold, allowing them to grow in a greenhouse for a few weeks first. Once the plant is strong enough and rooted, it can be moved outdoors to continue growing. Echinacea prefer well-draining soil and a sunny location, and are hardy down to -12°C.
Our unique and exclusive varieties are available worldwide through our network of young plant agencies.
